About the fact that the government is considering the possibility of adjusting the cost of one kilowatt hour upward with the arrival of summer, this time not for business, but for ;for household consumers, writes NBN, referring to the opinion of People's Deputy Alexei Kucherenko, voiced on the YouTube channel Novini.LIVE.
According to Kucherenko, now the domestic energy industry is in a critical difficult situation after a series of full-scale attacks by Russian occupation forces on critical infrastructure facilities—50 percent of electricity generation was destroyed, and against this background the revenue side of the state budget “suffers.”
In particular, The Cabinet of Ministers is actually preparing to review electricity tariffs for the population, which will most likely happen on June 1. It is assumed that the government is discussing raising prices in the range from 3.5 hryvnia to 4 hryvnia/one kilowatt-hour, “that is, approximately 1.5 times.”
We previously wrote about how the Ministry of Energy explained the need to increase electricity tariffs for the population.
