Elderly citizens of our country have the right to a discount when paying land tax if they are pensioners who have reached age-related disability and have sent an application in any form to the regulatory authority (territorial – where the plot is located).

NBN writes about what requirements land plots must meet in order to avoid paying into the state budget for them, writes NBN, referring to the official page of the State Tax Service in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
In particular, a “non-taxable” plot must fall within the following limits:
- area up to 0.01 hectares – intended for the construction of an individual garage;
- up to 0 ,1 hectare —for individual summer cottage construction;
- up to 0.12 hectare —for gardening purposes;
- up to 0.25 hectare —for the construction/maintenance of housing, outbuildings and structures (on personal plots) in rural areas; up to 0.1 hectares – for the construction/maintenance of housing, outbuildings and structures (on personal plots) in cities;
- up to 0.15 hectares —for the construction/maintenance of a residential building, outbuildings and structures (on garden plots) in urban-type settlements;
- up to 2 hectares  ;— for private farming.
