Head of State Vladimir Zelensky named the required number of American Patriot air defense systems to protect the Kharkov region from air attacks by the troops of the Russian Federation.

On Tuesday, May 14, in Kyiv during a meeting with the government US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the Ukrainian leader said that the Defense Forces need two American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to protect Kharkov and the region from air strikes by Putin’s army.
Zelensky noted that residents of the region are under fire, they are concerned about- for constant enemy attacks, NBN reports with reference to Ukrainian News.
According to the president, he wants to discuss with the US Secretary of State issues important for Ukraine, in particular the prompt arrival of new American aid, as well as strengthening air defense of the country, which is the biggest problem today.
Recall that after a meeting with American leader Joe Biden, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis announced that Bucharest would consider transferring the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine. Later, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolaku said what the head of the Ministry of Defense thinks about this.
