Due to a recent thunderstorm accompanied by heavy gusts of wind, at least 374 settlements in various regions have been cut off in Ukraine, and long power outage schedules have been introduced due to rising temperatures above +35 degrees Celsius , however, this is not all the prerequisites.

About the reason why today, July 18, the duration of power outages has been extended both in the capital and in 11 regions, writes NBN, referring to information published in the official Telegram channel of Ukrenergo.
According to Ukrenergo, equipment at two electricity generating facilities has broken down today, and for this reason , power engineers are using four stages of hourly power outages from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. We are talking about:
- Kyiv and Kiev region;
- Cherkasy region;
- Chernihiv region;
- Zhytomyr region;
- Kharkov region;
- Poltava region;
- Sumy region;
- Zaporozhye;
- Donetsk region;
- Dnepropetrovsk region ;
- Kirovograd region.
In other regions of the country, power outage schedules will operate in accordance with the previously announced schedule: from 4 pm to 10 pm. o'clock in the evening —four queues, during the remaining hours —three queues.
