About what exactly the Ukrainian leader discussed with Donald Trump at about 12 o'clock in the morning on July 20, writes NBN, referring to information published in the official Telegram channel of President Vladimir Zelensky.
According to Zelensky, first of all, he congratulated Trump on his nomination as a candidate by the Republican Party, while condemning the terrible assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, wishing the billionaire “strength and absolute safety in the future.”
In addition, the head of the Ukrainian state noted the vital importance of 2-party and 2-chamber support from the United States, which allows us to protect the freedom and independence of our country, including through assistance in strengthening Ukrainian capabilities in countering Russian terror, in particular, daily Russian attacks on cities and villages.
However, Zelensky emphasized the key outcome of the conversation:
We agreed with [potential] President Trump to discuss during a personal meeting exactly what steps can make the world fair and truly lasting.
We previously wrote about how Scholz spoke about Zelensky’s initiative to invite the Russian Federation to the second Global Peace Summit.
