As reported by NBN with a link to the publication Le Journal du Dimanche, French Foreign Minister Gerald Darmanin said that Paris “out of the principle of caution” decided to refuse coverage to a number of Russian journalists Olympics.
According to Darmanin, despite the fact that France allowed representatives of the Russian Federation who are employees of the International Olympic Committee to attend, such connivance will not affect certain journalists from the aggressor country.
In particular, out of the 960,000 people whose files were studied by local intelligence services for the sake of admission to work at the Olympics, including the opportunity to attend events related to the Games, 4,340 people were denied: at least 100 These “journalists” turned out to be spies, probably planning to open access to French networks to carry out cyber attacks.
The French Foreign Minister emphasized:
Russia, Belarus, and also other countries, the list of which I will not disclose.
Previously we wrote about the fact that Macron’s adviser answered whether the Ukrainian Armed Forces could attack the Kremlin with French weapons.
