RBC-Ukraine, citing a source in the special services, stated that the drone strike on the oil refinery in Tuapse was an operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which took place in two waves, informs “ NBN.”
UAVs were spotted in the sky above the city at about 03:30 local time. Russian Telegram channels write that during the first attack, the air defense tried to destroy 4 UAVs at once.
Around 06:23, at least two explosions occurred in the area of the local oil refinery, after which a fire broke out at the enterprise. Propagandists claim that the refinery was attacked by at least 8 kamikaze drones.
Note that at night the airfield of the “second army of the world” in Morozovsk, Rostov region, came under attack from a UAV. The consequences of the attack on the airbase were reported on the Internet.
