The day before, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban already stated that peace can only be brought to Ukraine from the outside, since both Moscow and Kyiv are in no hurry to surrender, but, apparently, it will not be Western countries that will stop the war (in Budapest's opinion).

As NBN reports with reference to Reuters material, Orban believes that Ukraine will never implement into reality their hopes for membership in the European Union or the North Atlantic Alliance for very trivial reasons.
According to Orban, the Kremlin is distinguished by its “hyper-rational” thinking, and the center of global power will soon shift from the “irrational” Western countries to Asia and Russia.
In particular, the Hungarian leader pointed to the “weakness” of Western policy, while Moscow’s position in global affairs remained rational and predictable, and also demonstrated economic flexibility in adapting to anti-Russian sanctions after the invasion of the Crimean Peninsula in 2014.
At the same time, Orban emphasized that the “greatest international appeal of Russian soft power” is the Kremlin’s oppositional attitude to LGBTQ+.
Separately, the Hungarian Prime Minister added—Ukraine will never become part of the EU or NATO, since “we Europeans don’t have enough money for this,” and Europe should “give up its identity as a political project” and become an “economic and defense project.”
Earlier, we wrote that Orban will continue his self-proclaimed “peacekeeping mission.”
