As NBN reports with reference to the statement of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Lebedenko, published in the official Facebook profile of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, unmanned systems used by defenders on the front lines are much more effective than classic types of weapons, including artillery weapons.
According to Lebedenko, now the priority direction for both the Armed Forces of Ukraine and manufacturers weapons, is a high-tech approach to the use/production of UAVs. We are talking about interceptors, artillery fire adjustment systems, counter-battery warfare and unmanned systems capable of effective operation at operational (up to 100 kilometers) and strategic distances (from 100 kilometers).
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that over the past almost 3 years, significant technological shifts have occurred on the battlefield:
The Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sees this technological prospect. The main thing for us is to find effective solutions to save the lives of our military personnel.
