As NBN reports with reference to NV sources, cyber specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense have been carrying out a massive DDOS attack on the Internet infrastructure of the aggressor country over the past 7 days.
In particular, the GUR attack disabled a number of online services of all key Russian banks, including the Central Bank, and also affected telecommunications operators, national payment systems, social networks/messengers, government portals and dozens of identical resources that supported/financed the Russian Federation's invasion of Ukraine.
As a result of the destabilization implemented by the GUR, the following functionality did not work:
- VTB Bank;
- Alfa Bank;
- SberBank;
- Raiffeisen Bank;
- RSHB Bank;
- AK-Barsa;
- Rosbank;
- Gazprombank;
- T-Bank;
- iBank;
- Dom.RF bank
- Central Bank;
- pages of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Tax Service.
In addition, as of Tuesday evening, July 30, Russians have not managed to restore stable operation of the main banking/payment systems, normal communication with mobile operators, connection to social networks and Internet providers.
Earlier we wrote about the fact that The Main Intelligence Directorate reported that a drone had hit a strategic bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces at the Olenya airbase.
