As a result of the unsuccessful, and in fact failed, offensive of the Russian Federation in various parts of the front in Ukraine, Putin's army is suffering colossal losses, and, accordingly, the morale of the occupiers has significantly “dropped”, which has provoked a large-scale flight of “manpower”.

As NBN reports with reference to the material of the National Resistance Center (CNS), due to the increase in the number of cases of desertion from the line of combat contact, the invaders had to increase the number of checkpoints in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of eastern Ukraine.
In particular, additional units of the Russian National Guard have arrived in the eastern regions, whose duties include not only acting as barrier detachments, but also increased detection of deserters who have left the ranks of the Russian occupation forces.
In addition, in Donetsk, Gorlovka and similar captured settlements, the number of patrols has noticeably increased. At the same time, the key factor that provoked global desertion is the active “meat assaults” on the positions of the Defense Forces introduced by the Russian generals, since the Russian Federation feels a significant shortage of armored vehicles on the battlefield.
Earlier, we wrote that in the occupied Kherson region, the “authorities” of the Russian Federation have increased the recruitment of the population into Putin's troops.
