A large-scale fire on the territory of the enterprise, where Russian “liberators” set up a military base, was seen on August 4 by residents of different areas of Mariupol, footage of the fire was published on the Internet, reports “NBN”.
Earlier, the city council reported that the arson of the Cold Storage Plant was organized by the resistance movement. Andryushchenko hinted that the fire was the work of one of the Russians, who did it for financial compensation.

On Monday, August 5, the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol in a comment to “24 Kanal” reported on the consequences of the fire at the military facility of the “second army in the world”. The official said that, according to preliminary data, three trucks and a Tiger armored vehicle of the occupiers burned down.
Also, seven “liberators” received burns of varying degrees. Andryushchenko specified that there were a significant number of Kadyrovites at the Cold Storage Plant.
The mayor's adviser added that this arson was similar to the partisan operation that they carried out in July in the village of Granitnoye near Mariupol.
