In June last year, the Wagner PMC organized a “march of justice” on Moscow under the leadership of oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, has revealed unknown details of the rebellion of the mercenaries of “Putin's chef.”

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine at a closed meeting with graduates KSE reported that Ukrainian intelligence was informed about the preparation of the “march of justice” by the Wagner PMC six months before this event. According to the general, Prigozhin's mercenaries could have captured the Kremlin at that time.
NBN reports this with reference to Politexpert.
The military leader explained that “Putin's chef” was planning this rebellion and any changes could not have happened on their own. However, the PMC militants did not capture the administration of the Russian president, since Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko dissuaded the leader of the “Wagnerites” from this idea.
The chief intelligence officer of Ukraine noted that the oligarch was a “Russian ultra-patriot” and intended to save his country. However, the illegitimate president of the Republic of Belarus stated that his actions could tear the Russian Federation apart and, even if he gets into the Kremlin, the nominal leadership will remain somewhere else.
As a result, Prigozhin listened to Lukashenko, who “came in with arguments of patriotism,” and stopped the “march of justice” of the PMC militants.
Budanov also spoke about the dilemma that the Russian Federation will face next summer in the event of a protracted war.
