As NBN reports with reference to the forecast voiced by the general director of the gas station network Leonid Kosyanchuk for the Kyiv-24 portal, first of all, the increase in excise taxes will provoke a “slight increase in price”, mainly gasoline and diesel fuel, while the purchase of autogas will “hit the pocket” a little harder.
According to Kosyanchuk, the price increase will be: for gasoline – plus 1.5 hryvnias/liter, and not less than 2 hryvnias/liter for diesel fuel. At the same time, the cost of liquefied autogas will be much more noticeable – more than 5 hryvnias/liter.
The CEO of the gas station emphasized – after the increase in excise duty, liquefied autogas will cease to be a cheap alternative to gasoline. Thus, the government decision will simply hit the most vulnerable segment of the population.
Kosyanchuk summed up:
But they brought in a lot of fuel. And there will be no immediate price increase. Except for gas, it has already started to rise in price.
Earlier, we wrote about the fact that the Rada showed how the cost of motor fuel would increase after the increase in excise taxes.
