As reported by NBN with reference to the material of Interfax-Ukraine, Deputy Assistant to the US President for National Security Dalip Singh said – Washington intends to speed up the procedure for tightening anti-Russian sanctions aimed at supplies oil.
According to Singh, the United States should, with regard to Russia, make maximum efforts in two directions: disarming the military machine of the terrorist state and depriving the Kremlin of financial revenues, which can be done by expanding sanctions and export control measures.
The Deputy Assistant to the President for National Security added that third countries are helping to violate American sanctions regarding the supply of dual-use components to Russia: we are talking about China, India, Turkey, the UAE and other countries.
Singh summarized:
The moment is approaching when it will be possible to talk about a much tougher regime, regarding the [running] of the “shadow fleet”, and the volumes of oil that the Russian Federation will be allowed to supply to the market.
