The American publication Forbes, citing data from OSINT analysts of the Moklasen project, writes that the military leadership of the Russian Federation is sending sailors from the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov to the so-called “zone of the Northern Military District”, NBN reports.
Journalists note that the cruiser has not gone to sea for 8 years, and the ship may not return to combat duty. Therefore, the command of the “second army of the world” decided to transfer part of its crew, which previously consisted of 1,500 people, to the ground forces and send them to the front in Ukraine.
The Russians have already formed a “frigate” battalion from some of the sailors, which first operated in the Kharkov region, and was then redeployed to the Pokrovsk direction, which is one of the hottest. At least one fighter from this unit is missing.
According to the media, the military leadership of the aggressor country took such measures due to the need to replace the wounded, killed and captured occupiers in Ukraine.
Earlier, the Atesh movement reported that due to losses, the Russian Federation is replenishing Putin's occupation forces with cadets from military universities.
