As reported by “NBN” with reference to the material of “Suspilne”, the head of “Ukrposhta” Igor Smilyansky stated that the process of sending out letters-subpoenas is practically similar to the identical delivery of court documents.
According to Smilyansky, the procedure for delivering a subpoena is similar to the delivery of a regular registered letter, which is given to the recipient “against signature”. In this case, if a person is absent, that is, he/she did not receive a summons letter in person, the postman leaves a notice, and if such a notice is not picked up, then— “as with court documents—we leave it in the system and return the summons letter to the sender [the domestic defense department].
The head of Ukrposhta emphasized—all of the above is a clearly regulated procedure introduced into the mobilization legislation, and the summons letters look like a regular envelope.
Earlier, we wrote that Shmygal revealed updated conditions for receiving “economic armor” from mobilization.
