As reported by NBN with reference to the official website of the NBU, the adjustment of the above tariffs is caused by the change in the cost of the provided functionality, as well as increased competition in the domestic market of the country.
It is assumed that the increase in tariffs will allow the NBU to ensure competitiveness with the subsequent development of the NPS “Prostir”. In particular, the prices for services now look like this:
- for affiliation of banks and non-banking financial institutions—10 000 UAH;
- for assigning the status of independent processing centers —15 000 UAH;
- for obtaining the status of information acquirer by legal entities—17 300 UAH;
- for connection to the central router and clearing base of the system with integration testing of the acquiring sectors—148 000 UAH;
- for processing of transactions that fall under clearing of the list of merchants category—0.02 hryvnia/operation.
Also, tariffs for support of server software, installation of software, provision of information services (on the side of acquirers), routing processing of data processing and conducting settlements between banks have before written about how the National Bank explained the acceleration of inflation in recent months.
