As reported by “NBN” with reference to information, published in the official Telegram channel of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Dmitry Lubinets, the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation has caused billions of dollars in damage to the ecosphere of Ukraine.
According to Lubinets, the terrorist state has committed more than 4,700 environmental crimes in Ukraine worth 64 billion dollars. In particular, we are talking about the pollution of the soil cover, water resources and sources and air, which has caused enormous damage to the domestic nature reserve fund.
In addition, due to Russian armed aggression, Ukraine has become the most mined country in the world: in accordance with UN data, such actions of the Russian Federation threaten the lives and health of more than 6 million people, since about 142,000 square kilometers of territory are considered potentially dangerous (due to mines).
Earlier, we wrote about how Lubinets responded to foreign media reports about the agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation for the exchange of children.
