On Thursday, October 10, in London, the NATO Secretary General, after meeting with the head of the British government and the Ukrainian president, stated that there are legal grounds for lifting the ban on the use of Western weapons by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike deep into the aggressor country.
This was reported by NBN with reference to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
At the same time, the head of NATO once again emphasized that the use of long-range weapons by Ukraine to destroy targets throughout Russian territory is the decision of a specific ally that transfers such weapons to Kyiv.
According to him, they discussed this at a meeting with Starmer and Zelensky today. Answering a clarifying question from media representatives about whether he supports lifting the ban on strikes with Western weapons deep into the terrorist state, Rutte again repeated that this is a matter for individual allies of Kyiv.
Earlier, the British publication explained why the new Secretary General of the Alliance is not worried about the prospect of Trump winning the US elections.
