During an interview with representatives of leading foreign media, the President said that Ukraine is ready for the Russian Federation to participate in the Global Peace Summit, but this requires a peace plan and plan to attract the states of the Global South, NBN reports.
According to the Ukrainian leader, Kyiv can supplement its plan with points proposed by the authorities of China, Brazil and other countries, but only if their proposals are based on the UN Charter and help stop the war.
Zelensky said that the Ukrainian leadership will prepare a peace plan next month and can create it together with other states if they make proposals.
The president is not against the countries of the Global South inviting the Kremlin dictator to the Peace Summit to end the war in Ukraine.
However, as the guarantor noted, there is “one thing” – the Russian leader does not want to participate in the conference, since he does not know what to do after the hostilities, what he will do next. Zelensky added that the head of the Kremlin has “his own plan.”
Also, during a conversation with journalists, the head of state said that Ukraine is counting on European support if the United States cuts aid.
