As reported by NBN with reference to RTVS material, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico During his visit to China, he openly supported the Chinese-Brazilian “peace initiative”, while simultaneously criticizing Ukraine's Western partners for the allegedly deliberate escalation of the war against the Russian Federation.
Based on Fico’s words, Beijing is rightly expressing concern about the “uncontrolled escalation of tensions and the threat of a nuclear conflict” against the backdrop of the war between Russia and Ukraine. At the same time, according to the head of the Slovak government, the European Union does not intend to abandon its “military rhetoric”, having done everything to avoid signing realistic peace agreements (2022), and Zelensky’s identical initiative [“Peace Formula”] “has fallen into dust” because it is fantastic, “and instead of its new version”, the Ukrainian leader is presenting a “victory plan”.
Separately, Fico predictably “admired” the above-described “peace plan” of Beijing and Brasilia, during his communication with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, pointing out that they agree on the position regarding “the impossibility of an immediate cessation of hostilities while Ukraine The West continues to provide military and financial aid.”
Earlier we wrote about how Fico, in an interview with Skabeeva, criticized EU allies for military aid to Ukraine.
