Kovalenko in his Telegram channel responded to the words of Polish Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky allegedly wants to drag his country into a war with the Russian Federation, calling on Warsaw to shoot down the occupiers' missiles, NBN reports.
The head of the CPD wrote that he does not understand why the neighboring state is so stubbornly fencing itself off from reality and bringing the war with the Russian Federation closer for the Alliance member countries, which the Kremlin dictator is ready to start in 4-6 years. Moscow does not hide its intentions, stating that the organization must return to its borders of the 1990s.
According to him, a strong position now can save NATO states from a future clash with the Russians, because real hostilities will begin later. He stressed that Western politicians or those responsible for national security should be aware of these risks and not bury their heads in the sand.
It should be noted that the Polish Deputy Prime Minister did not like Zelensky's calls for Warsaw to shoot down the occupiers' missiles over Ukrainian territory. Gavkovsky accused Kyiv of allegedly behaving dishonestly towards Poland.
