As NBN reports with reference to the official X-account of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who has repeatedly received generous praise from Donald Trump, the newly elected US president called him from the billionaire's estate in the state of Florida.
According to Orban, he saw that the call came from Trump's residence, Mar-a-Lago, and, as a result, had his first telephone conversation with the new US president since the election.
The Hungarian prime minister did not disclose any additional details of the conversation with the billionaire, but added that the politicians had already made “big plans for the future.”
It should be noted that Orban, who is regularly criticized by Western countries for his often pro-Russian stance, expressed views similar to Trump's on Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and also suggested that Kyiv make concessions to Moscow, to stop the fighting.
Earlier we wrote about Fico praising the Chinese-Brazilian “peace plan” and blaming the West for the escalation of the war in Ukraine.
