The Hungarian prime minister regularly reaffirms his anti-Ukrainian, or rather openly pro-Russian, position, seeking to advance his own vision of ending the war in Ukraine.

As reported by NBN with reference to the Bloomberg material, the head of the Hungarian government Viktor Orban made a predictable statement – allegedly European countries are not able to independently provide funding for Ukraine's defense if Washington stops its support after Donald Trump takes office.
Orban again recalled his summer “peacekeeping” visits to Ukraine, Russia and China, pointing out that the latest changes in events only confirmed his conclusions from these visits. Separately, the Hungarian Prime Minister assured that the United States allegedly intends to “exit” from the war, which Orban believes Kiev has “lost.”
In particular, according to the Hungarian high-ranking official, if Trump decides not to support Ukraine’s defense capability in the war against the Russian Federation, then the European Union will not be able to replace this format of American aid:
Europe cannot finance this war on its own.
Earlier, we wrote about how Orban spoke about the first telephone conversation with Trump after the billionaire was elected president.
