As NBN reports with reference to the opinion of Oleg Pendzin, a member of the Economic Discussion Club, voiced on the air of the Kyiv-24 YouTube channel, from Ukraine 6.8 million people left, and less than 14 million citizens remained in the country, relatively economically active, that is, of working age.
According to Pendzin, out of 14 million people, only about 6.5 million of the population continue to work in the legal business sector, paying taxes on time, and 3 million people receive wages from the state budget, including those employed in the sphere of national security and defense, simply put, servicemen of the Defense Forces.
In addition, the expert separately commented on the statement of Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, regarding the fact that 98 percent of summonses were sent to military personnel who do not pay taxes:
The State Tax Service did not send out summonses, this was done by the TCC/SP and the Ministry of Defense, and they definitely do not have a taxpayer database.
