The new console from Sony has launched at an unjustifiable price — for this money, gamers have not received any particular performance benefits, and are quite capable of buying an average PC.

As NBN writes with reference to the X-account Genki, according to Sony CEO Hiroki Totoki, who has reviewed the financial report, the inappropriate prices for the new gaming console did not affect the influx of profits, since the device was initially aimed at experienced gamers, or as they are also called “hardcore users”.
According to Totoki, despite the fact that the gaming community has expressed a wide range of opinions about the pricing of the PlayStation 5 Pro, such a cost of the console “did not have a negative impact on sales” (the console became available for purchase November 7 at prices of $700/£700/€800).
However, in comparison with the basic version of the PS5, which immediately caused some excitement and provoked a small shortage (there was not enough chips for regular production), the updated “gadget” is practically always available in most stores.
At the same time, “speculators” failed to repeat the success with the resale of the regular PS5, and now the cost of the Pro device ranges from £510 to £700.
