As reported by “NBN” with a link On the air of the Megogo video service, the head coach of the “main team of the country” Sergei Rebrov tried to explain the loss of points in the match against Georgia.
According to Rebrov, the “blue-yellows” had every chance to win, but “with such a level of marriage”, it is unlikely that they will be able to achieve their plans, and the issue is not at all in the dedication of the players, but in the number of lost balls and unfinished attacks.
However, the football guru added that it is very difficult to win against such a team (Georgia), which received huge support from fans, and the Ukrainians also found themselves under psychological pressure due to the away game on “foreign territory”. In particular, the Georgian team “had a lot of support”, thanks to which the opposing players gained more confidence, “went to equalize the score, and did it.”
Rebrov summed up:
We scored, and perhaps this played a role, that the team tried more to hold the score [than to strive for victory].
