Commander of the long-range UAV operator group of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in a report by journalists “Donbass Realii” reported on the preparations for drone strikes on targets in the territory of the aggressor country.
Ukrainian intelligence officers are launching swarms of drones against Russia, each of which contains 75 kg of explosives, the NBN publication reports.
According to him, preparations for a drone attack on the Russian Federation are being carried out in several stages. First, Ukrainian military intelligence analyzes targets in the territory of the terrorist state, the possibility of drones reaching them, analyzes enemy air defense and electronic warfare systems in order to find “corridors” for UAVs to approach targets.
The intelligence officer noted that this has been very difficult to do over the past year, but it still works out. The military man specified that his group was the first to launch almost all long-range drones and drones that came before them. Currently, the GUR UAVs can hit targets in Russia at a distance of 2,000 kilometers.
Recall that, as reported by the media, on the night of November 25, Ukrainian military reconnaissance drones hit an oil depot in the Russian city of Kaluga.
