The Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky announced what will happen to Prague's initiative to purchase ammunition for the Ukrainian army next year.

The head of the Czech Foreign Ministry in an interview with the European Pravda” reported that Prague will continue its initiative to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with shells in 2025, NBN reports.
The minister recalled that the Czech authorities promised to purchase and transfer 500,000 large-caliber shells to the Ukrainian troops. The diplomat is confident that Prague will reach this figure by the end of this year.
The head of the MFA noted that his country finds ammunition, buys it, restores some of it and then transfers it to Kyiv. Lipavsky believes that EU countries should develop the production of shells.
A representative of Prague reported that Prime Minister Petr Fiala and the heads of government of Denmark and the Netherlands have already found a large number of shells in different parts of the world that can be purchased for Ukrainians for 2025.
