As reported by NBN, citing statistics posted on the official website of the European Commission, 87 percent (9 out of 10 respondents) of citizens of various EU countries agree with the need to provide humanitarian aid to Ukrainians affected by the war.
Also, 71 percent of respondents are in favor of maintaining anti-Russian economic sanctions aimed at the Russian government, including companies and individuals located in the aggressor country. In addition, 68 percent of respondents approve of providing Ukraine with regular financial assistance.
In addition to all of the above, 6 out of 10 Europeans are not against granting Ukraine the status of a potential EU member, and 58 percent agree that Brussels should purchase and supply military equipment/ammunition to Ukraine.
