Recently, Ukrainian-born Congresswoman Victoria Spartz made a statement that Kyiv should mobilize the entire country to effectively counter Russian aggression.

As NBN reports with reference to the YouTube channel Kyiv-24 and the Facebook account of the MP from Servant of the People Yulia Yatsyk, in fact, the representative of the Republican Party in the US Congress Victoria Spartz only pointed out the need to consolidate the entire population of Ukraine.
Based on Yatsyk's words, in reality the discussion was not about another intensification of the mobilization campaign in Ukraine (the call-up of “women and children” to the Armed Forces of Ukraine), but about the need to review the current position of officials, the inadmissibility of corruption, and also about the complete transition of the economic sphere to a military footing, in particular, the expansion of ammunition production, in order to achieve a “common goal” – “Victory for all.”
Yatsyk summed it up:
«OPUSHNYE» [OPU—Office of the President of Ukraine] channels took [Spartz’s statement] out of context, and thereby shift the emphasis from criticism of the president’s actions to the issue of mobilization.
