On Tuesday, December 10, DeepState analysts announced the seizure of occupiers of 1.98 km² of territory of Sumy region near the village of Oleksandriya. The head of the regional military administration Volodymyr Artyukh called the message about the border breakthrough in the region a fake.
According to the official, the information about the entry of Russian invaders into the territory of Sumy region is enemy disinformation, the purpose of which is to destabilize the situation in the region, writes the publication “NBN”.
On the air of the TV channel “Kyiv”, the speaker of the State Border Service Andriy Demchenko also responded to the message from DeepState. He stated that this information is not true, specifying that it is not advantageous for the occupiers to advance in the specified area, since there is swampy terrain there, where it is difficult to gain a foothold and develop operations.
The representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine emphasized that border guards did not record any attempts by Russian invaders to enter or any military operations in this area.
As reported, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko assessed whether there is a threat of an offensive by Russian troops in the Sumy direction.
