The results of a sociological survey conducted from November 15 to 27 by Info Sapiens at the request of the New Europe Center showed that the majority Ukrainian citizens (64.1%) believe that Kyiv should not sit down at the negotiating table with Moscow, since after a short pause the Russian Federation will start a war again.
At the same time, 29.5% of Ukrainians are convinced that it is necessary to start a dialogue with the aggressor, since Ukraine does not have the resources to wage war of attrition, the NBN publication reports.
Answering the sociologists' question under what circumstances Kyiv should negotiate with Moscow, 39.1% of respondents said that in the event of the withdrawal of Russian occupation troops from the country's territory, at least to positions until February 24, 2024.
26.2% of respondents believe that negotiations with Russia can begin after Ukraine receives security guarantees from the West in order to avoid a new invasion by the Russian Armed Forces.
16% of citizens are convinced that no prerequisites are needed for dialogue with the Kremlin, 12.1% of Ukrainians refuse the negotiation process under any circumstances. circumstances, 2.6% of the study participants believe that this is possible in the case of direct or indirect pressure from Western countries.
