Doctor of Economic Sciences Lyudmila Cherenko named the reason for the return of IDPs to the occupied territories and explained how the authorities can solve this problem.

Internally displaced persons have begun to return to the IDPs due to high rental prices in the territory controlled by Ukraine. The economist voiced this opinion in an interview with the publication “RBK-Ukraine”, writes “NBN”.
Cherenko is convinced that Ukrainians would not return home to the regions occupied by the Russian Federation if the authorities had resolved the issue of providing temporary housing at the level of each municipality, at least in the form of dormitories.
According to her, even if IDPs were able to find work, they still spend almost all their money on renting housing. At the same time, some citizens were unable to settle down normally in a new place, since not all of them are able to work, for example, pensioners. Therefore, they are forced to return to the TOT, since there is a place to live there.
Also in the interview, the doctor of economic sciences explained why Ukrainian refugees will return from European countries.
