Estonian intelligence reported on the success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk direction, where fighting continues, as Russian occupiers are aiming to recapture the city.

The Estonian Defense Forces Intelligence Center notes that the recapture of the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkov region remains a desired goal for the Russians. Therefore, fighting in the direction of the settlement does not subside, the publication “NBN” reports with reference to ERR.
Despite the pressure from the occupiers, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have achieved success in this section of the front. In late autumn, the troops of the aggressor country managed to create two bridgeheads on the right bank of the Oskol, which brought them closer to capturing the city.
For the first time, the Russian Armed Forces crossed the river on November 24 to the south of the village of Novomlynsk, taking up positions on the western bank. However, on December 3, Ukrainian forces drove the enemy out of the settlement.
On the first day of December, the Russians again crossed the Oskol near the village of Masyutovka, creating another bridgehead, which, according to Estonian intelligence, was also destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
