NATO leaders are only discussing increasing targeted defense spending to 3 percent of GDP, although such discussions have been going on for at least several years.

As reported by “NBN” with a link According to Ukrinform, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte made a statement that over the next year, Ukraine will have to allocate 10 times more funds for defense needs than, on average, its European partners in the North Atlantic Alliance, who are only thinking about expanding their military budgets.
Based on Rutte’s words, our country will allocate at least 25 percent of its own gross domestic product (GDP) to the defense sector in 2025, which is ten times higher than the identical expenses of Alliance member countries.
The NATO Secretary General added that the above-described forced financing is a tough reminder – “freedom doesn't come for free.”
At the same time, Rutte did not fail to add – if the war in Ukraine cannot be stopped now, NATO will pay much more in the near future, in particular, by conducting military operations on its territory:
Not billions, but trillions of euros. And this is if we gain the upper hand, if we win…
Earlier we wrote about the fact that the US State Department reported that Ukraine will receive military aid in the new package.
