The RBC-Ukraine publication, citing a source in the Servant of the People party, stated that the Rada may begin considering the citizenship bill this week – media to consider a bill to ensure the implementation of the right to acquire and retain Ukrainian citizenship. The head of state initiated it back in August, NBN reports.
According to the journalists' interlocutor, Zelensky has identified this document as a priority, so at the conciliation meeting, representatives of the presidential political force will insist on its consideration this week.
It should be noted that the bill registered by the head of state at the end of the summer will, in particular, define permissible cases of multiple citizenship.
Recall that the former head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmytro Kuleba advocated the introduction of multiple citizenship last year, but with one limitation.
