As reported by NBN with reference to Ukrinform's material, The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, made a statement: “Providing support for Kyiv, while the Kremlin tyrant Putin continues to terrorize the population of Ukraine, is not so much a moral as a strategic imperative for all EU member states.”
Based on von der Leyen’s words, Putin’s strategy is quite obvious: the Russian dictator intends to achieve an advantage on the ground by intensifying the offensive of the occupation forces, and at the same time continue to terrorize the people of Ukraine.
The President of the European Commission believes that only strengthening Ukraine “right now” will become the key moral and strategic goal of Brussels, since “the world is watching,” and this applies to both friends and and opponents, and even more:
…Our enemies will be watching closely to see how we can continue our [unwavering and firm] support for Ukraine.
Earlier, our information portal wrote about the US State Department reporting that Ukraine will receive military aid in the new package.
