As reported by “NBN”, citing Le Parisien, said that President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are unable to recapture the Crimean Peninsula, Luhansk and Donetsk regions in the short term.
In particular, answering a question regarding compromise solutions on the cession of captured territories to the aggressor country, that is, the potential renunciation of occupied Crimea and Donbass, Zelensky replied that such intentions contradict the “Constitution of Ukraine”, although “de facto” these regions are controlled by the Russians. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces simply do not have the strength, means, or resources to carry out the de-occupation of the Crimean Peninsula, as well as the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
Also, the guarantor added, Kyiv will be able to count exclusively on an increase in the level of diplomatic pressure on the Russian Federation from the international community, which will force the Kremlin tyrant Vladimir Putin to sit down at the negotiating table.
