As reported by NBN with a link to the material Reuters, South Korean parliament member Lee Son Gwon, who has military intelligence data, made a statement: North Korean units suffered significant losses in Kursk region because they have no experience fighting drones and do not know how to operate in open terrain.
Based on Lee Son Gwon's words, the discrepancy in the estimate of the number of North Koreans killed with the Pentagon's data is caused by the relatively conservative analysis of the US National Intelligence Service. In particular, at least 100 of Kim Jong-un's militants have died in the Russian Federation, and the number of wounded is approximately 1,000 people.
The South Korean official separately added that a number of signs are being recorded indicating that North Korea is preparing to additionally transfer its troops to help the aggressor country.
