The spokesman for the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Vladislav Voloshin, spoke about the assaults on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions by Russian invaders in the Kherson region.

Voloshin, on air at the national telethon, said that the Russians in the Kherson region are not giving up their attempts to seize new territories. Every day, the occupiers conduct reconnaissance in force and try to break through the Ukrainian defense with small infantry groups, the NBN publication reports.
The spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces announced the intensification of artillery shelling – the Russian Armed Forces have increased it by about a third: previously there were 250-300, but now there are already 370. There have also been more enemy strikes by kamikaze drones.
According to him, the situation in the Dnieper direction has not changed for several weeks, every day the invaders carry out 5-7 assaults on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, trying to dislodge the defenders.
Also, the “second army of the world” does not reduce the number of attacks on the regional center and settlements adjacent to the Dnieper. The Russians are using drones, guided aerial bombs and air-launched missiles to carry out strikes.
Voloshin added that, according to intelligence, there are no signs of the enemy preparing to cross the river and attack Kherson.
Earlier, the head of the Kherson OVA, Alexander Prokudin, commented on reports of forced evacuation from the regional center.
