Yadrov, commenting on the downing of a passenger plane Azerbaijan Airlines, which crashed in Kazakhstan, admitted that on December 25, the Chechen Republic was under attack by a UAV, and a “Carpet” plan was declared at the Grozny airport, the NBN publication reports, citing the TASS propaganda agency.
The head of Rosaviatsia found the “culprits” of the tragedy, in particular, he pointed to Ukraine, which launched drones into the region, allegedly striking civilian infrastructure in Grozny and Vladikavkaz.
He also “blamed” the crash of the Embraer 190 passenger plane on weather conditions. According to him, there was dense fog in the area of the airport, which is why there was no visibility at an altitude of 500 meters.
Yadrov claims that the captain of the plane, who died, tried unsuccessfully to land the plane in Grozny twice, after which he decided to fly to Aktau, despite the fact that he was allegedly offered other airports.
The head of Rosaviatsia also called for Russia to be allowed to investigate the circumstances of the disaster, which was caused by the air defense of the aggressor country, which Moscow does not admit.
Earlier, Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded to Azerbaijan's accusations of involvement in the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane.
