Artist and showman Andrey Danilko, who performs as Verka Serduchka, responded to another fake with which the Russians tried to discredit him.

Russian propagandists have once again attempted to discredit Danilko by twisting the artist’s words about the Russian language in a recent interview with a Latvian broadcaster, the publication “NBN” reports.
The showman stood up for the Russian language, saying that with its help he can communicate abroad with foreigners who were born in the USSR. He gave the example that Laima Vaikule does not know Ukrainian, and he does not know Latvian. Therefore, Russian is the best option for their communication.
In a video distributed by Russian propagandists, they said that Danilko allegedly “changed his shoes” because he cannot refuse the language of the aggressor country and supports terrorists.
The artist published a screenshot of the corresponding video on Verka Serduchka's Instagram page. He wrote that Russians are desperately hitting another rock bottom and translating words from interviews that did not happen. At the same time, the showman added that no one is surprised by this.

Recall that the organizers of the National Selection for Eurovision wanted to see Danilko in the judge's chair. The showman's manager explained why the artist refused to join the jury.
