As reported by NBN with reference to the SammyFans material, the South Korean tech giant is preparing to announce the inexpensive Galaxy M16/F16 smartphones, and an insider has already leaked rendered photos of the gadgets online, indicating that the new products will be noticeably different from their predecessors.
As it became known, the next generation of the above-mentioned smartphones will be able to boast a redesigned “island” camera block, as well as a completely flat back cover and side edges. However, the teardrop-shaped cutout for the front camera sensor and a thick “chin” will remain.
Also, the Galaxy M16 5G will be powered by the Dimensity 6300 processor, 8GB of RAM, and will finally get a 90Hz SuperAMOLED screen. Judging by the renders of the Galaxy F16, the smartphone will have a metal camera module containing three sensors in a vertical form factor on the rear panel, which can be seen in the pictures below:
