The Slovak Prime Minister continues to blackmail the Ukrainian leadership, trying to force it to reverse the decision to stop the transit of Russian gas to Europe.
The politician said that his country has allegedly already lost 5 billion euros due to Zelensky's “sabotage,” NBN reports with reference to Denník N.
According to him, if Kyiv does not resume the transportation of “blue fuel” from the Russian Federation, he will raise the issue of reducing, or even completely refusing to support Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia. The head of government also threatened to stop electricity supplies to the neighboring state.
It should be noted that the representative of Bratislava stated that gas storage facilities in Europe, including Slovakia, are full. The country has enough “blue fuel” for the winter, and there is no threat to households. Therefore, it remains unclear what kind of loss the Prime Minister is talking about.
Earlier, the head of the Slovak government also threatened “dramatic consequences” for the European Union due to the termination of gas transit from Russia by Ukraine.
