Residents of the capital and the Kyiv region will spend the fourth day of the new year without electricity, as reported by power engineers.

The Kyiv Digital app reports that on Saturday, January 4, household consumers in Kyiv and the region will not have their electricity turned off, the NBN publication reports.
In the morning at NEC Ukrenergo reported that today the level of electricity consumption in the country has increased due to a drop in temperature and cloudy weather in most regions, which has reduced the efficiency of home solar power plants.
The company recalled that emergency recovery work is ongoing at energy facilities – last year, the Russian occupation army carried out 13 large-scale attacks on the energy sector of our country.
Ukrainians should regularly check the latest information on possible planned or emergency power outages. Data on emergency power outages for household consumers in the capital is posted on the DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids website, and for residents of the Kyiv region, graphs are published on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Grids portal.
Recall that the head of the Ministry of Energy, German Galushchenko, assessed the consequences of last year's attacks by the Russian Armed Forces on the Ukrainian energy system.
