As reported by “NBN” with reference to the official YouTube channel of the OPU, President Volodymyr Zelensky explained whether Ukraine should count on the provision of all air defense systems, the dispatch of which was guaranteed by representatives of the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance at the Washington summit.
Based on Zelensky's words, he positively assesses the “serious achievement” at the above-mentioned NATO summit – we are talking about the decision made in the US capital regarding the provision of 5 additional Patriot air defense/missile defense systems to Ukraine.
However, the president added that at this stage, not all members of this defense bloc have reached the implementation of the summer plan, but the decision remains positive, as does the irreversibility of Ukraine's course of accession to NATO, approved by all countries of the Alliance.
It should be recalled that Kyiv has repeatedly asked Washington to allow independent licensed production of Patriot air defense systems/complexes in Ukraine, but the matter has not moved from the “dead point”.
