As reported by NBN with a link According to Deutsche Welle, Slovakia's state-owned power grid operator plans to extend its supply of electricity to Ukraine.
In particular, the management of the state-owned company SEPS firmly assured that they intend to strictly adhere to a number of agreements concluded with Ukrenergo: last year, the Slovaks extended an agreement providing for the supply of 150 megawatts of electricity, in accordance with the “emergency assistance” program for our country.
It should be noted that SEPS ensures cross-border distribution of electricity without going beyond standard contractual terms: during 2024, energy exports from Slovakia to Ukraine will reach marks of 2.43 Terawatts/hour, which is 3.5 times more than was recorded in the same period the year before last.
Earlier, our information portal wrote that Fico threatened to reduce support for Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia due to “Zelensky's sabotage.”
