As reported by “NBN” with reference to the material of “Suspilne”, a statement was made by the commander of the unit of the 24th separate mechanized brigade with the call sign “Bogdan” – Putin's army is trying to force the canal in Chasov Yar every day, trying to advance in the city.
Based on the words of the military man, Chasov Yar is a priority height, advantageous for the implementation of the further offensive of the “second army of the world”, and therefore the invaders carry out daily assaults in the area of the Seversky Donets/Donbass canal, which runs through the city: it is here that the invaders are probing the “weak spot” for crossing the artificial reservoir with armored vehicles.
“Bogdan” added that against his brigade has deployed a significant number of enemy “manpower” – an entire division (about 10,000 occupiers). In addition, the Russian Federation has transferred another motorized rifle brigade to this area (from 1,000 to 8,000 people).
The defender emphasized that despite the fact that the evacuation routes for the wounded and the delivery of ammunition are under the fire control of the invaders, defending Chasov Yar is difficult, but possible.
